About Me

I’m a paleontology graduate student in the northeast studying dinosaur functional morphology. I enjoy baking and cooking when I’m not working on my research, or teaching, or doing other grad-studenty things.

I work primarily from recipes, but I’m not afraid to play around with them. I’m more likely to cook on the fly than bake on it. My mother taught me much of what I know about cooking and baking, but I’m continuously learning more with each recipe.

Due to the fact that I don’t cook every day, and that I often cook repeat dishes, this blog won’t be updated super frequently, but I would expect at least one entry a week (Sunday is bread baking day). I hope you enjoy this glimpse into my culinary adventures.
